TRANSEXPO international public transport trade fair opens in Kielce

The TRANSEXPO international public transport trade fair has commenced at the Expo Kielce halls. This edition features a larger exhibition area and a higher number of exhibitors compared to previous years, bringing together manufacturers, carriers, public transport operators, and enthusiasts.

Major manufacturers in attendance include Solaris, MAN, IVECO, Irizar, Autosan, Isuzu, NESO-BUS, TEMSA, Karsan, King Long, Golden Dragon, Otokar, BMC, MMI, and SOR. A key highlight is the Polish premiere of the Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric, a compact electric bus designed for zero-emission urban transport.

The exhibition showcases various technologies, including safety systems, onboard electronics, passenger information systems, and fleet management solutions. Notable innovations include the BB-1 smartbus by Autonomous Systems, which features autonomous maneuvering capabilities for depot environments.

Additionally, the event includes the 6th Vintage Bus Exhibition organized by the Chamber of Municipal Communications. This section features historical vehicles, such as a 1938 Chevrolet EFD 183 FS that was recently restored, alongside models like the SAN H100B, Scania CR111M, and Jelcz Berliet PR110U.
