Transfer Travel platform reports rapid growth in travel resale market

Transfer Travel, described as a "Vinted for travel", allows users to sell booked holidays they can no longer use. The service, free to join, gives sellers 72 hours to transfer the booking documents to the buyer, who then travels at a reduced price.

The marketplace now has more than 162,000 members in over 170 countries, with the United States, United Kingdom and Canada leading in activity. Listings have risen 185% year‑on‑year, and in 2026 the platform hosted bookings worth about £7 million, with an average vacation value of £1,545. Users typically save 40‑70% on trips; recent examples include a Malta holiday cut from £90 to £45 and a five‑night Greek stay priced at €280 per person.
