Transfăgărășan highway closed July 8 for advertising shoot

The Romanian Police traffic center announced that on Wednesday, 8 July, the Transfăgărășan (DN 7C) will be partially closed for the filming of a commercial. Between kilometre markers 118‑124 (Bâlea Lac to Bâlea Cascadă, Sibiu County) traffic will be stopped completely, while the stretch km 102‑117 (Cascada Piscul Negru, Argeș County to Bâlea Lac) will operate in 10‑minute intervals followed by 10‑minute pauses, or as directed by police officers.

Drivers are advised to adjust speed, keep safe distances and avoid risky maneuvers. Main roads such as A1, A2, A3, A7, DN1 and DN7 remain in normal condition with dry surfaces and good visibility.
