TransGroup secures media rights for India vs Afghanistan T20I series

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has awarded the commercial and television production rights for an upcoming three-match T20I series against India to the Pakistan-based company TransGroup. TransGroup will serve as the Global Media Rights Syndication Partner for the series.

Although the matches will be played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi, India, the series is hosted by the ACB. This marks the first bilateral event between India and Afghanistan hosted by the ACB. The matches are scheduled to take place on September 13, 15, and 17, 2026.

Other partners for the series include TPT360 as the Media Production Partner and FanCode as the Official Streaming Partner for the Indian territory. Additionally, Sony Sports Network has acquired the linear television broadcast rights, while ITW Universe holds the overall media rights. This creates a split broadcast structure for Indian viewers between digital streaming on FanCode and traditional television via Sony Sports Network.
