TransJakarta driver accused of reckless driving causing passenger injuries

A TransJakarta bus driver on the Monas-Pulogadung Corridor 2 route is accused of reckless driving, causing several passengers to fall and experience shock. The incident involved unit TJ0205.

According to reports circulating on social media, the driver allegedly drove at uncontrolled speeds, maneuvered through gaps in traffic, and performed sudden braking. The most critical moment occurred near the Senen flyover intersection before the Toyota Rangga stop, where extreme braking caused passengers in the connection area to lose balance and fall. Some female passengers reportedly fell to the floor, while others were struck by the sudden jolt.

Following the incident, the driver reportedly refused to provide clarification or show identification when passengers attempted to seek an explanation at the Toyota Rangga stop.
