TransMilenio renames Bogotá station to Quinta Paredes - RTVC

TransMilenio S.A. and the public media system RTVC have announced an alliance that includes renaming the Quinta Paredes station in Bogotá to ‘Quinta Paredes - RTVC’. The station is located on the Calle 26 trunk line, directly across from the RTVC headquarters.

The partnership aims to bridge mobility with culture and public information by utilizing the communication channels of both organizations to bring institutional and cultural content to daily commuters. Pedro Mauricio Gutiérrez, general manager of TransMilenio S.A., stated that the initiative is intended to build a “new bridge between mobility and citizenship.”

This renaming is part of the relaunch of RTVC, which is celebrating 22 years of service. According to Ángela María Mora Soto, manager of RTVC, the move honors the institution's role in Colombia's audiovisual and cultural heritage. Currently, 34 TransMilenio stations feature naming agreements with various companies or institutions. No changes to existing bus routes serving the station have been announced.
