Transnica to resume San José-Managua bus services

Transnica is preparing to resume regular international bus services between San José and Managua following a ruling by the Administrative Transport Tribunal (TAT). The tribunal granted a precautionary measure requested by the company, suspending the effects of a previous decision by the Public Transport Council (CTP) that had declined to renew Transnica’s permit.

The resolution, issued on October 2, mandates that the company’s ability to provide international service be maintained while an appeal is processed. Additionally, the TAT ordered the CTP to notify the General Directorate of Traffic Police to ensure the company’s buses are permitted to circulate normally. Transnica announced it expects to restart operations next week at regular schedules, with specific dates to be communicated via its official digital channels.
