TransNusa launches nonstop Bali–Phuket flight service

Indonesian carrier TransNusa has launched its first nonstop service between Bali and Phuket, connecting two major Southeast Asian tourism hubs. The new route, operated using an Airbus A320 with 174 seats, reduces travel time to approximately four hours.

The service currently operates four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with plans to expand to a daily service starting October 3. The inaugural flight arrived at Phuket International Airport at full capacity.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) welcomed the service, noting it aligns with the government’s Ease of Travelling policy and aims to increase Indonesian visitor numbers to Thailand. This launch follows TransNusa’s recent Jakarta–Bangkok service and is supported by a memorandum of understanding between TAT and the airline regarding destination marketing and regional connectivity.
