Transpetro announces public exam with over 4,000 total vacancies
Transpetro, Brazil's state‑owned oil‑transport company, has approved a new public selection process that will open 281 immediate positions and create a reserve register of 3,890 candidates, bringing the total number of opportunities to more than 4,000. The recruitment will be divided into four separate editals covering maritime and land roles for both medium‑level and higher‑education professionals. Salaries for the new hires can reach up to R$15,000, plus benefits stipulated in the company's collective agreement.
The selection will be administered by the Fundação Cesgranrio, which also conducted a public lottery on 5 May to allocate reservation slots for indigenous, quilombola, disabled and black candidates across the four editals. The lottery results will be formally validated by Transpetro before being incorporated into the forthcoming editals, expected to be published in August 2026 with examinations scheduled for November.
