Transpetro launches hiring drive for 281 positions with salaries up to R$15,000

Transpetro, a subsidiary of Petrobras, announced four public notices for hiring land and sea staff, offering 281 immediate vacancies and creating a reserve register.

The land positions include medium‑level and graduate roles, while the sea positions cover officers, sub‑officers and crew. A preliminary public lottery on 5 May will allocate the reserved slots for ethnic‑racial groups (25% black, 3% indigenous, 2% quilombola) and 10% for people with disabilities.

Initial salaries can reach R$15,034.81 plus benefits such as complementary pension, health plan and education allowance. Exams will be held in all Brazilian capitals and the Federal District; registration opens in August via Cesgranrio, with tests scheduled for November. The lottery will be conducted by Cesgranrio, streamed live on YouTube, using urns and electronic spreadsheets to ensure transparency.
