Transpetro is conducting a recruitment process offering 281 immediate vacancies and a reserve list. The competition includes a distinction between the 'Quadro Terra' (Land Staff) and 'Quadro Mar' (Sea Staff).

The 'Quadro Terra' consists of professionals working in terrestrial units, such as terminals, offices, and operational facilities, covering administrative, technical, and engineering roles. In contrast, the 'Quadro Mar' is dedicated to maritime operations, where staff work aboard vessels to manage the transport of oil and derivatives, following specific service scales and requiring maritime certifications.

For the 'Quadro Mar' positions, specifically for Second Engine Officer and Second Nautical Officer, the objective exam will consist of 70 questions: 50 on specific knowledge, 10 on Portuguese, and 10 on English. Experts recommend prioritizing specific knowledge due to its weight in the exam, while maintaining regular study in Portuguese and English to meet mandatory elimination criteria.
