Transport accidents in Hungary and the UK cause multiple injuries

Two separate transport accidents have resulted in multiple injuries in Hungary and the United Kingdom.

In Hungary, a minibus veered off road 5301 between Izsák and Páhi, crashing into a roadside ditch. Emergency responders, including firefighters from Szabadflóri, Kiskőrös, and Kecskemét, worked to rescue six passengers trapped in the wreckage. A rescue helicopter was deployed to assist with the medical response. All six occupants sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals following on-site treatment.

In the United Kingdom, a Southern Rail commuter train traveling from London Victoria derailed near Lewes in Southeast England. The train was carrying approximately 150 passengers at the time of the incident. While all passengers were eventually evacuated safely, 20 people were taken to the hospital with various injuries, two of whom are reported to be in serious condition. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the derailment.
