Transport accidents in Hungary involve ambulance rollover and train collision

Two separate transportation accidents occurred in Hungary. In Budapest's X. district, an ambulance and a passenger car collided at the intersection of Sibrik Miklós út and Gergely utca during the early hours of Friday. The collision caused the ambulance to overturn. Five people were injured in the incident, including two paramedics and two patients from the ambulance, as well as one person from the car. All injured individuals were transported to the hospital.

In a separate incident near Kismacs, a passenger train collided with a truck on the Füzesabony–Debrecen railway line. The collision caused significant disruptions to rail services, particularly between Debrecen and Látókép. MÁV reported that some services, including the 6683 passenger train from Látókép to Nyírábrány, were canceled. Passengers have been advised to expect longer travel times and to use replacement buses or VOLÁN bus services, where railway tickets are being accepted between Debrecen and Balmazújváros.
