Residents in Mérida, Mexico, are reporting the disappearance of the 82 García Ginerés - Sol Yucatán minibus route. The absence of this service, which has lasted three weeks, poses significant challenges for hundreds of students from institutions such as Cobay, CEDART, Conalep III, and the Instituto Tecnológico de Mérida. Students must now seek alternative routes or walk to the periphery to find transportation. The Yucatán Transport Agency (ATY) has not yet issued a statement regarding the change.

In a separate matter, residents near the Once de Noviembre school in Latacunga are warning of safety hazards regarding a local pedestrian passage. The area lacks handrails and contains accumulated debris, creating a risk of falls into a nearby river, particularly during rainy weather. Citizens are calling on municipal authorities to inspect and repair the passage before the new school year begins to ensure the safety of students and elderly residents.
