In Poza Rica, Mexico, the Public Transport Delegation seized a vehicle suspected of providing services through a mobile application without the required legal concessions or authorizations. This action is part of ongoing operations ordered by Governor Rocío Nahle García to combat irregular transport. Under Veracruz state regulations, operating without a permit can result in significant fines and potential prison sentences ranging from three to nine years.

In San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, municipal authorities and SUTRAPA inspectors conducted surprise inspections at the Bus Terminal to address passenger complaints regarding overcharging. The operation resulted in the seizure of three vehicles with tampered taximeters. Officials reported that 68 licenses have been flagged for excessive charging following reports made via municipal complaint channels.
