Transvision Vamp performs first UK shows in over 30 years

Transvision Vamp has returned to the UK for their first performances in the country since the early 1990s. The reunion tour features frontwoman Wendy James alongside original bassist Dave Parsons and a new lineup including Alex Ward, Pip Stakem, Matt Millership, and James Sclavunos.

Recent performances in Manchester and at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire featured a setlist of greatest hits, including ‘Trash City’, ‘I Want Your Love’, and ‘Tell That Girl to Shut Up’. The band also performed tracks from their third album, ‘Little Magnets Versus the Bubble of Babble’, and the rarely played ‘Velveteen’. While the band features a new lineup, the shows maintained the punk-rock energy and vocal presence associated with their late 1980s era.
