Transylvania International Theatre Festival opens in Cluj-Napoca

The third edition of the Transylvania International Theatre Festival (FITT) has opened in Cluj-Napoca, running from September 17 to 20, 2026. The event features a unique intersection of performing arts and neuroscience.

Festival president Elena Ivanca addressed the audience at the Student Culture House to mark the opening. Professor Dafin Mureșanu, president of the RoNeuro Institute and honorary co-organizer, discussed the connection between the two fields, noting that while neuroscience explains brain function, art provides a medium for expressing emotion and the human soul.
