Trapeze debut album reissued on limited-edition blue vinyl

Deko Entertainment will release the self‑titled debut album by the British rock band Trapeze on 180‑gram blue vinyl in October, with the run limited to just 500 copies worldwide. The original 1970 record was produced by John Lodge of The Moody Blues and captured the group's early psychedelic and progressive sound before they shifted to hard‑rock.

Formed in 1969, Trapeze originally included John Jones, Terry Rowley, Glenn Hughes, Mel Galley and Dave Holland. After the debut, Jones and Rowley left, leaving Hughes, Galley and Holland as a trio. Hughes later joined Deep Purple and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; Galley went on to play with Whitesnake, and Holland achieved international success with Judas Priest. This reissue is the first vinyl pressing since the original release, featuring a remastered edition, a specially designed inner sleeve, and a limited run of 500 copies.
