Trapoklovo mayor Kiril Kirilov dies in tractor accident

Kiril Kirilov, the mayor of Trapoklovo village in the Sliven region, died on August 18 following a tractor accident. Emergency services, including police, fire, and medical teams, responded to a 112 call reporting a man trapped by a tractor on a dirt road near the village.

Medical personnel confirmed the death of the 69-year-old official at the scene. Stefan Radev, the Mayor of Sliven, expressed his condolences, noting that Kirilov had served the community since 2011 and had been discussing village development projects just a day before the incident.

Authorities have launched a pre-trial investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident.
