Travaglio district wins 68th Sagra del Tordo in Montalcino

The Travaglio district has secured the trophy at the 68th Sagra del Tordo in Montalcino. Archers Marion James Batazzi and Niccolò Losappio earned 96 points to lead the yellow-and-red district to victory in the traditional archery competition.

The win marks the 31st historical victory for Travaglio. The competition remained highly contested through the third series of shots, with all four participating districts tied before Travaglio pulled ahead in the final stages.

As winners, the district received the silver arrow and the artwork ‘La luce del Giudizio’ by artist Francesco Mori. The Borghetto and Pianello districts followed with 93 points each, while the Ruga district finished with 84 points.
