Travel industry updates: Retter Sports partnership and schauinsland reisen networking

Retter Sports, a sports travel specialist based in Graz, has announced a partnership with the Munich-based startup ClubGefühle. The collaboration aims to allow travelers participating in active holidays—such as surfing, trekking, mountain biking, or winter sports—to connect and meet their fellow travelers before their trip begins.

This initiative is designed to foster a sense of community during the planning phase, which may particularly benefit solo travelers. For ClubGefühle, the partnership extends its service into the travel sector where group dynamics are essential.

Separately, schauinsland reisen hosted a travel agency networking event at Wörthersee in Austria alongside airline partner Emirates. The event focused on personal dialogue and direct exchange rather than traditional presentations. Discussions included Emirates' flight programs from Vienna and schauinsland reisen's growth strategies, including the expansion of hotel offerings in Greece and Turkey for the 2027 summer season.
