Travel loyalty programs offer sales on miles and points

Several travel loyalty programs are offering promotions on the purchase of miles and points.

United MileagePlus has launched a tiered bonus promotion valid through September 30, 2026. Depending on the specific offer targeted to a member, bonuses can reach up to 100 percent. To access the highest tier of pricing, members must purchase at least 20,000 miles in a single transaction. New restrictions for 2026 limit purchases to 50,000 miles (including bonuses) per 90-day period, with an annual cap of 200,000 miles.

Choice Privileges is offering a discount of up to 40 percent on point purchases, with a minimum requirement of 5,000 points per transaction. Additionally, Hilton Honors is featuring a 100 percent bonus on points.
