Travel providers expand capacity for 2026/2027 winter season

Travel providers are expanding capacity for the 2026/2027 winter season. Alltours, a Düsseldorf-based tour operator, is increasing its long-haul offerings in response to a five-year trend of rising demand, which has seen bookings for international destinations grow by over 40 percent annually.

The expansion includes increased hotel capacities and tour programs in the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. Specific focus areas include Thailand (Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui, and Khao Lak), the Maldives, the Seychelles, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Curaçao. Alltours is also strengthening partnerships with international hotel chains such as Hyatt, Meliá, and Radisson.

Simultaneously, Eurowings is expanding its winter flight schedule from Düsseldorf. The airline will convert two former summer routes into year-round connections, adding twice-weekly flights to Tallinn, Estonia, and up to twice-daily flights to Milan-Linate, Italy. This expansion follows the opening of a new 2,000-square-meter crew training center at Düsseldorf Airport by Eurowings and Lufthansa Aviation Training.
