Travel tech firms report rising demand for digital booking tools
RateHawk, a B2B online reservation platform, says European travel agents are increasingly using its free mobile app to search, book and manage hotels, flights and transfers, citing faster, flexible service as a competitive edge. The company highlighted its Quotations and Budgets features, which automate proposal creation and allow agents to add commissions easily.
Separately, Spanish tour platform Civitatis and high‑speed rail operator Ouigo have signed a strategic agreement to let train passengers book local activities through the OuigoMatch initiative. The partnership promises exclusive benefits for users and expands the digital travel experience from booking to on‑site leisure.
Both announcements illustrate a broader shift toward mobile‑first, integrated solutions in the travel industry.
