Travel technology firms launch new creator-focused platforms

New developments in travel technology and marketing are emerging as the creator economy reshapes the hospitality sector. Rachel Haines, a South Wales marketing strategist, has launched Hotel Collab, a platform designed to help hotels, villas, and unique accommodations manage influencer requests and content partnerships through a structured process.

This launch follows trends indicating that a majority of consumers use social media for travel inspiration, with many booking trips based on viral content. The platform aims to move creator collaborations from informal communications into a professionalized, platform-led system.

In a separate move, the Australian travel-tech company BYRDLI has partnered with Hawai’i Tourism for a new campaign titled ‘The Space Between’. Featuring travel filmmakers and photographers, the initiative focuses on O’ahu, encouraging travelers to move beyond traditional itineraries to connect more deeply with local culture, food, and communities.
