Travel trends focus on solo exploration and healthy eating habits

New trends in the travel industry highlight a growing interest in solo travel and maintaining nutritional balance while away from home.

In the Czech Republic, the travel agency Čedok has launched a dedicated section for solo travelers. This move responds to a rising demand among individuals, including working professionals and parents, who seek autonomy and mental detox through independent exploration without the need for compromise.

Regarding nutrition, experts suggest that maintaining a healthy diet during vacations is possible by focusing on simple dietary anchors. Nutritionist Miško Páleník advises travelers to prioritize protein, fiber, and hydration to avoid common issues like bloating or digestive discomfort caused by excessive salt, sugar, and fats. Instead of relying on fast food, travelers are encouraged to opt for healthier alternatives like chicken wraps, whole-grain baguettes, or preparing nutritious snacks like skyr and kefir in advance.
