Experts note that the tourist season is extending longer each year. In regions like Antalya, Turkey, sea temperatures remain high through October, making it an attractive period for travelers seeking warmth without the summer crowds.

European island destinations are also being highlighted for autumn travel. The Croatian island of Brač, featuring the famous Zlatni rat beach, is noted for its pleasant October weather. Other recommended destinations for the autumn and winter months include Tenerife in Spain, Crete in Greece, and Cyprus, all of which offer milder temperatures and fewer tourists than the summer months.
