In Rome, visitors utilized pre-booked English-guided tours to access the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, bypassing long queues. The tour included a visit to the Pinco Courtyard, home to a large ancient Roman pinecone and Arnaldo Pomodoro’s ‘Sphere within a Sphere’. Due to high temperatures exceeding 30°C, visitors relied on taxis for transport and sought water stations.

In Hokkaido, a traveler utilized local bus tours to navigate areas like Biei and Furano, including stops at Shiki-sai-no-oka, the Blue Pond, and Farm Tomita. The traveler noted that while local tours provide a compact way to see many sites, the demographic of participants and guides was predominantly non-Japanese, creating an international atmosphere during the journey.
