Travelers' Rest State Park celebrates 25th anniversary

Travelers' Rest State Park, located near Lolo, Montana, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of public events titled ‘25 Events for 25 Years’. The park is recognized as a significant cultural and historical site, containing the only archaeologically verified campsite of the Lewis & Clark Expedition and serving as an important site for the Séliš and Ql̓ispé people.

Upcoming anniversary activities include a free concert by The Queens and Mr. G along Lolo Creek on August 23, and a themed trivia event at Lolo Creek Distillery on August 27. Previous celebrations included an exhibition of over 50 grizzly bear art prints titled ‘Ursus Horribilis: The Grizzly Bear Illustrated’.
