Traveling Science Festival launches first event in Cherni Osoym, Bulgaria

The Traveling Science Festival visited the village of Cherni Osoym in Bulgaria for the first time during the seventh edition of “Ranger Day” on 1–2 August. The two‑day event was organized by the Natural Science Museum – Cherni Osoym together with the Beautiful Science Foundation, with "Az‑buki" as media partner.

Activities were aimed at families, offering workshops where participants could learn to identify plants and wildlife, try basic climbing, and understand conservation. Children completing all stations received a “Junior Ranger” certificate. The program also featured two exhibitions: the macro‑photography show “Invisible Antarctica: Close to the Impossible” by Vera Gotsova‑Lomovera and “Jurassic World: Dinosaurs Beyond the Cinema” with paleo‑art by Vladimir Nikolov. Admission to workshops was free, though prior reservation was required; walk‑ins were accepted if space permitted.
