Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi opens in Japan

Travelodge Hotels Asia has officially opened the Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi in Japan. The new 302-room hotel welcomed its first guests on August 1, 2026, with a grand opening celebration held on August 6.

Located near Nagahoribashi Station and within walking distance of the Dotonbori district and Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street, the hotel aims to serve as a central base for travelers exploring Osaka. The opening event also served as the official debut of Trevor, the brand’s new mascot designed to represent the company’s welcoming spirit.

Pinky Lam, Chief Operating Officer of Travelodge Hotels Asia, noted that Japan remains a key market for the company’s growth. The celebration included partners such as Hiroshi Mizohata, Chairman and President of the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau.
