NFL star Travis Kelce has responded to comments made by Prince William regarding a viral backstage selfie taken during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London in June 2024. During an appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, the Prince of Wales jokingly admitted he had attempted to move Kelce out of the frame to ensure the photograph featured only himself, Swift, and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Speaking on the ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside his brother Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce addressed the remarks with humor. Kelce noted that he understood the Prince’s perspective, pointing out that at the time of the photo, he was merely Swift’s boyfriend and not her husband. He quipped that the Prince likely wanted him to step aside so the royal family could keep a lasting photo regardless of whether the relationship lasted.

Jason Kelce joined in the lighthearted exchange by presenting a digitally edited version of the original photo that removed Travis Kelce from the shot. Travis expressed amusement at the edit, suggesting it be sent to Buckingham Palace.
