Trazarien White scores 73 points in a week amid Legia racism scandal

Zastal Zielona Góra defeated Legia Warszawa 104:87 in a PGE Basket Liga match, highlighted by a standout performance from Trazarien White and a disciplinary controversy involving Legia player Jakub Andrzejewski.

White, a 25-year-old American making his European debut, scored 73 total points across two games in a single week. He recorded 43 points in a FIBA Europe Cup match against Szolnoki and followed it with 30 points against Legia, the reigning Polish champions. Zastal coach Arkadiusz Miłoszewski praised White's impact while noting there is still room for development.

However, the match was marred by a scandal involving Legia's Jakub Andrzejewski. Video footage captured Andrzejewski directing a vulgar and racist slur toward a Zastal player during a break on the bench. Andrzejewski later issued an apology on Instagram, citing emotional influence during the game, though he is expected to face disciplinary action.
