Treasure Island series to premiere on Paramount+ and MGM+ this October

The adventure drama series ‘Treasure Island’ is set to premiere this October. The six-part production, created by Robert Murphy and produced by Playground, stars Hayley Atwell as Bess Hawkins and David Oyelowo as Long John Silver.

The plot follows young Jim Hawkins and his mother as they pursue Captain Flint’s legendary treasure map, leading to a journey aboard the Hispaniola marked by shifting loyalties and deadly secrets. The series is a Paramount+ Original in association with MGM+ and Fifth Season.

In the US, the series will premiere on MGM+ on October 11th, while viewers in the UK and Ireland can access it via Paramount+ starting October 12th. New episodes will be released weekly through mid-November.
