Infrastructure projects advance in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Major infrastructure projects are advancing in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Montenegro, the government has approved preparatory works for the Budva bypass (Markovići – Lastva Grbaljska section). Managed by Monteput, these works are expected to begin in early October and aim to divert transit traffic from Budva's urban center to improve safety and connectivity along the coast.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, progress has been made on the Orašje–Brčko–Tuzla motorway. JP Autoceste Federacije BiH has selected the Mostar-based company Integra to design the first 16-kilometer section from Orašje to the Brčko District. The contract for this design work is valued at approximately 2.03 million KM. Once completed, the full 61-kilometer highway is intended to connect the Tuzla region and northeastern Bosnia with Croatia and the broader European motorway network.
