Tree fall on PR-589 causes accident and traffic disruption

A fallen tree caused a vehicle accident and temporary traffic disruption on the PR-589 highway between Nova Santa Rosa and Novo Sarandi. The incident occurred during a rainy night at the border of Nova Santa Rosa and Toledo.

A utility vehicle traveling toward Novo Sarandi struck the tree, resulting in damage to the front of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Local residents assisted in clearing the roadway using a tractor with a loader and chainsaws to remove the trunk and branches, after which traffic was restored.
