Tree falls on road in front of Jürgen Klopp's former home

A fallen tree blocked a road in Herdecke, Germany, specifically in front of the former residence of football coach Jürgen Klopp. The incident prompted a unique emergency call, as the caller highlighted the location's connection to the well-known figure.

Firefighters faced difficulties reaching the scene due to several incorrectly parked vehicles obstructing the heavy rescue vehicle. Once on-site, emergency crews secured the area and used a winch to pull the tree from the roadway before clearing it with a chainsaw. The incident resulted in minor damage to a street lamp and a fence.

During the operation, some local residents reportedly ignored safety warnings and remained in the danger zone near the winch, requiring intervention from the incident commander to ensure safety. The fire department emphasized the life-threatening risks of using heavy winches and urged the public to follow emergency instructions immediately.
