Trelew family robbed of vehicle and belongings during overnight home intrusion

A family in the San Benito neighborhood of Trelew, Argentina, was targeted in a robbery while sleeping on a Friday morning. Criminals entered the residence through the rear of the property, bypassing security alarms that had been disconnected due to the presence of pets.

The thieves stole a black Toyota Yaris, cash, and personal belongings. The vehicle is of particular importance to the family as it is used to transport their child to medical therapies and contains a specialized medical chair. Local police are currently analyzing surveillance footage to identify the perpetrators, while the Trelew Vehicle Theft Brigade is working to locate the car.
