Trelew Tennis Club hosts M15 ITF professional tournament

The M15 ITF professional tennis tournament is currently underway at the Trelew Tennis Club in Argentina.

Carlos María Zárate, ranked 385th in the ATP, has advanced to the semifinals after defeating Valentino Grippo 6-3, 6-2. Zárate, the tournament's top seed, previously secured victories against Nicolás Bruna and Giovanni Branchetti. He is scheduled to face American Félix Corwin in the semifinals.

Francisco José Gay, representing the Lawn Tennis Club Esperancino, competed in the main draw after receiving a wild card. Despite a strong performance where he forced a third set, Gay lost to Lorenzo Gagliardo with a score of 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
