Trellix appoints new leadership to bolster cybersecurity and market execution

Trellix has announced two key additions to its leadership team to enhance its go-to-market execution and enterprise security capabilities. David Pieterse has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer – Go-To-Market (COO-GTM), and David Soto has joined as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Pieterse will lead the company’s go-to-market organization, focusing on strategic partnerships, front-line execution, and translating security innovation into customer value. He brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, having previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Recorded Future, Snow Software, and Kong, Inc.

Soto will oversee Trellix’s enterprise security program and drive the company’s shared resilience transformation. These appointments come as the company seeks to address an increasingly AI-driven threat landscape, with CEO Vishal Rao noting the need for proactive, AI-native security responses.
