Tren Solar de la Quebrada to debut virtual reality experience at FIT 2026

The Tren Solar de la Quebrada, Latin America’s first 100% solar-powered train, will feature its own stand at the 30th International Tourism Fair (FIT) in Buenos Aires. Scheduled for September 26 to 29 at La Rural, the exhibition aims to promote the Jujuy region through technological innovation.

A key highlight of the stand is a virtual reality wagon designed to simulate high-value experiences from the Northwest Argentina (NOA) region, such as the 'Tren del Vino' among high-altitude vineyards and the 'Cielo en Movimiento' experience under the starry skies of the Quebrada de Humahuaca.

The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals by combining clean energy with UNESCO World Heritage sites. The presentation is specifically targeted at travel agents and operators to encourage the inclusion of northern Argentina in future tourism itineraries.
