Trend Micro integrates NVIDIA models and launches Japan initiative

Trend Micro is enhancing its TrendAI Vision One platform by integrating NVIDIA’s open-weight Nemotron models. This integration is designed to provide AI-driven cybersecurity capabilities within sovereign and private cloud environments, allowing organizations to maintain data sovereignty and control over security operations.

By deploying these models directly within client-managed infrastructures, businesses and public administrations can utilize advanced threat detection and response without relying on external inference services. This approach addresses increasing regulatory requirements regarding data residency and control.

Additionally, the company has announced the Japan Cyber Resilience Initiative, which includes up to 10 billion yen in licensing credits for TrendAI Flex. This move aims to address the growing demand for protection against security vulnerabilities and zero-day threats, particularly concerning Linux components.
