TrendAI launches enterprise AI security unit in Saudi Arabia

Trend Micro has rebranded its enterprise cybersecurity business as TrendAI and officially launched the unit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 21 July 2026. The launch supports Saudi Vision 2030 and the national data and AI strategy, which aim to make the country a leading global data and AI economy. TrendAI will help organisations adopt artificial‑intelligence technologies securely by extending protection beyond infrastructure to the behaviour of AI systems, their connections and decision‑making.

A global study by TrendAI of 3,700 business and IT decision‑makers found that 67 % of organisations feel pressure to approve AI deployments despite security concerns, while 57 % say AI is evolving faster than they can secure it. More than four in ten cite AI agents accessing sensitive data as a top emerging risk, and about a third lack observability or auditability over AI systems. Industry estimates project AI could add US$135.2 billion – roughly 12.4 % of GDP – to the Saudi economy by 2030, underscoring the importance of robust AI governance and cybersecurity.
