Trenčianska univerzita awards honorary doctorates to two scientists

The Rector of Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín, Jozef Habánik, has awarded the honorary title of doctor honoris causa to two prominent foreign scientists: Professor Enrico Bernardo and Professor Lothar Wondraczek.

Professor Enrico Bernardo, from the University of Padua in Italy, is an expert in glass research, recycling, and geopolymer materials. He has been instrumental in creating joint doctoral programs and training young researchers in collaboration with the university.

Professor Lothar Wondraczek, from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany, is a specialist in the structure and functional properties of glass. Both professors have played significant roles in the development and scientific direction of the Center for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glasses (FunGlass), strengthening the university's position within the European scientific community.
