Trenord announces fare increases for Lombardy railway subscriptions

Starting September 1, Trenord railway tickets and subscriptions in Lombardy will increase in price. The average adjustment is 3.889%, though specific increases vary based on distance, subscription duration, and ticket type.

The price adjustments follow regional and national regulations, factoring in Istat-certified inflation, service performance indicators, and passenger satisfaction levels regarding punctuality and frequency.

Annual subscriptions for long-distance routes will see the most significant changes. For journeys exceeding 160 kilometers, the annual cost increase will exceed 50 euros. Monthly subscriptions are also expected to rise by approximately 1 to 5 euros per month.
