Trenord begins recruitment for new train conductors

Trenord has opened applications for new train conductors to support its daily operations, which include over 2,400 trips across Lombardy, surrounding provinces, and the Malpensa Express airport link. The recruitment process began on September 3, and interested candidates must submit their applications through the company’s official website by September 21.

Selected candidates will undergo a mandatory six-month training program organized by the company, which includes theoretical and practical exams as well as an internship period to obtain professional certification. The role is central to passenger safety and service quality, requiring staff to provide assistance, information, and effective communication.

Requirements for the position include a high school diploma or a university degree, excellent proficiency in Italian, and a good level of English. Additional foreign languages are considered a plus. Applicants must demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours, a willingness to travel within Lombardy and neighboring regions, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. In addition to conductor roles, Trenord is also seeking candidates for IT Project Manager Junior and HR Talent & Development Specialist positions.
