The municipal tourism office of Trenque Lauquen organized a biciturismo event that let local residents bike through the town and visit the cooperative El Pase. Participants rode bicycles from the "Viví Trenque en Bici" program and were shown the artisanal production of handmade football and volleyball balls, as well as a new textile workshop that creates jobs for women in vulnerable situations.
El Pase, which operates in the Caritas facilities on Pasteur 542, provides training and employment for people nearing the end of prison sentences, former inmates and at‑risk adolescents as a pathway to social reintegration. Visitors heard personal stories from cooperative members, and coordinator Mercedes de Castro described the encounter as “full of emotion and reflection.” The event also thanked Martín Herrero, the cooperative team and the local Direction of Protección Ciudadana for their support.
