Trenque Lauquen hosts table tennis Copa Invierno with 115 players from 16 towns

The Copa Invierno de Tenis de Mesa took place at the Polideportivo Municipal “Poroto” Abásolo in Trenque Lauquen, gathering 115 participants representing 16 localities. The event was organised by the Tenis de Mesa Trenque Lauquen association with support from Club Barrio Alegre and the municipal government. Mayor Francisco Recoulat and municipal sports director Martín Lusetti attended the competition. Winners were recorded across five age categories, with Francisco Lavalle (Santa Rosa) winning the 1st category, Ignacio Hernández (Henderson) taking the 2nd category, and Rodrigo Tiano (General Villegas) topping the 3rd category, among others. The tournament highlighted strong community involvement, sponsorship backing and the municipal commitment to promote sport in the region.
