USC freshman Trent Mosley sidelined with knee injury ahead of Rutgers game

No. 12 USC football will be without freshman wide receiver Trent Mosley for their Big Ten conference opener against Rutgers. Mosley, who has recorded four touchdowns and 255 receiving yards in his first three games, is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a knee injury.

USC head coach Lincoln Riley stated that while the exact duration of the absence is inconclusive, the team will continue to monitor Mosley’s response to treatment. The injury comes as the Trojans (3-0) begin a challenging conference schedule that includes upcoming matchups against Oregon, Penn State, Ohio State, and Indiana.

In addition to Mosley being ruled out, the Trojans' injury report for the Rutgers game includes defensive tackle Jahkeem Stewart and linebacker Jadyn Walker, both of whom are listed as questionable.
