Trent Williams sued over unpaid Porsche lease

San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams is facing a lawsuit from OpenRoad Auto Group regarding a failed lease on a 2018 Porsche 911. The auto group claims Williams signed a 48-month agreement in 2021 but only made two monthly payments totaling $10,617.26.

OpenRoad Auto Group alleges that Williams closed the bank account used for automatic payments, preventing them from accessing funds for the remaining 46 installments. The company is seeking $244,199.28, which includes the unpaid lease amounts, attorney fees, and litigation costs. The lawsuit includes claims of breach of contract and fraud.

Furthermore, the current location of the vehicle is unknown. Reports suggest the car may have been sold to another company and subsequently to a third party despite the lack of a valid title. The legal issue comes as Williams recently signed a two-year, $50 million contract extension with the 49ers.
